Hello! My name is Shannon.

I am the photographer and owner of Captured Moments Photography. I have been in business for five years now and loving every moment of it! I am also a wife and the mother of three wonderful and energetic boys. This is why I choose to have my studio at my home. It is in a beautiful country location which allows for flexibility and great outdoor scenery. The name “Captured Moments“ comes from my passion to capture every special moment of your life. That moment may feature a precious sleeping newborn, a screaming 1 year old who doesn’t want to leave their mommy, or the proud and smiling five year old who loves to play baseball. I will photograph that special portrait of your child at any age. I take as much time with each session as everyone needs so it’s both relaxing and enjoyable.

As you can see by my gallery, I take portraits of Seniors, Newborns, Children, Families, and also Engagement pictures. I am available for really any occasion, but I must admit that my true passion is photographing weddings. To me there is nothing better than to get up on a Saturday morning and know that I am included in that once in a lifetime day. And if your wondering, not all my pictures are formal. I do love to get the happy couple just doing what they do best--loving each other! But beware, I guarantee that a few tears will be shed sometime during the day! I never know when they will come. It might be when the man sees his bride for the first time in her beautiful wedding gown to when the parents walk their daughter down the aisle. There are just too many touching moments in one day! Oh yes, and for those couples who choose to fly away with a few family and close friends ---YOU CAN BRING ME WITH!! I do destination weddings too, and at a very fair price!
